Captain Christos Serdenes has been an integral part of the maritime industry for 25 years and an approved United States Coast Guard (USCG) instructor for over 20 years. He has taught all required modules for students seeking a 100-ton Master’s license. As an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), he was selected by CCBC to modify the USCG-approved course curriculum for CCBC’s 5-year USCG renewal certification, which included directly interacting with the USCG National Maritime Center and USCG licensing department, and writing the curriculum to meet the current USCG requirements.
